院长:吴文英

 

      

吴文英, 研究员, 1989年7月安徽大学外语系英语专业, 获文学学士学位; 1998年4月日本大阪府立大学综合科学研究科跨文化交际学专业, 获文化学硕士学位。2000年9-12月, 荷兰南方应用技术大学高级翻译学院交换教师; 2006年7-8月英国伯明翰大学人文学院进修; 2010年7-8月美国马里兰等大学参加高校国际化能力提升培训; 2015年1-3月法国南特大学法访问学者。

   

现任北京工业大学北京-都柏林学院院长, 国际交流合作处处长, 港澳台事务办公室主任。曾获北京市第七届教育教学成果二等奖一项 (2013年) (排序第二); 2014年北京市师德先进个人; 北京工业大学教育教学成果奖一等奖 (2012年); 2015年、2016年指导的硕士毕业生分别获得北京工业大学优秀硕士论文奖。研究方向主要为: 高等教育国际化, 跨文化交际与管理。曾主持北京市、校级研究课题近十项, 目前在研课题4项 (含北京市哲学规划课题一项), 发表相关领域研究论文近20篇; 出版译著两部。

Prof. Wu Wenying (Wenny)

   

Wenying (Wenny) Wu, Professor and the Principal of Beijing-Dublin International College. She concurrently holds the positions of being the Director of International Office and the Director of Office of Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs.

 

She received her Bachelor of Art form the English Department of Anhui University in 1989, and her Master's Degree of Art, focused on Intercultural Communication study, form the Faculty of General Science of Osaka Prefecture University, Osaka, Japan in 1994. She has been long engaged in the profession of International Exchange and Cooperation, and has abundant experiences in promoting the internationalization of Higher Education. She was a short-term visiting scholar at Zuyd University, Holland and Nante University, France respectively in 2000 and 2014.

   

Her research interest centers on the Internationalization of Higher Education and Intercultural Communication and Management. More than 20 academic papers have been published in the above mentioned fields, and 2 of her books of translation (from Japanese to Chinese language) have been published as well. Presently she is in charge of 4 research projects form the Beijing Municipality and BJUT.

   

She has won many awards and honors in her previous professional career. She was awarded the 2nd Price of Beijing Municipal Achievement of Education and Teaching in 2013, and the 1st Price of BJUT Achievement of Education and teaching. She was also awarded the Title of Professional Integrity of Teachers by Beijing Municipal Government in 2014. 2 Master's Degree thesis supervised by her won the BJUT Excellence Master's Thesis respectively in 2015 and 2016.

 

 

党委书记:蔡立佳

 

 

蔡立佳同志毕业于北京工业大学环境与能源工程学院热能工程专业。

 

2002年参加工作,历任北京工业大学环境与能源工程学院团委书记,学生工作办公室主任,党委研究生工作部(研究生院)办公室主任;2008年作为访问学者在美国缅因州立大学(UMF)研修;2011年担任计算机学院党委副书记;承担《大学生心理适应指导》等课程授课任务。


获得北京高校优秀德育工作者、北京工业大学优秀教育工作者标兵、优秀共产党员、学生工作系统先进个人等称号,参与团队获得北京工业大学优秀教育教学成果一等奖。


蔡立佳同志多年来主要从事学生事务管理和大学生素质教育工作,承担或参与教育部人文社会科学研究项目“欧洲高等教育区资格框架一体化改革研究”、北京市教委创新团队研究计划项目“中西方高校学生事务管理体系差异性研究”等课题研究20余项;主持首都大学生思想政治教育课题“基于中外合作办学的大学生责任感提升方法研究”、北京市辅导员培训研修基地项目“高校思想政治教育工作机制的系统构建”;主持北京工业大学教育教学研究课题重点项目“基于中外合作办学平台的人才培养模式探索与建设”、校党建与思想政治工作研究重点项目、校优秀基层党建工作创新重点项目等多项。在《中国青年研究》等期刊发表论文20余篇。2013年入选北京高校“青年英才计划”。

 

Secretary of Party Committee——Cai Lijia


Cai Lijia, male, born in 1980, master in engineering, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of College of Computer Science, mainly engaged in student affairs management, and has published more than 20 papers; pursued further education in University of Maine as visiting scholar; undertakingtheteaching task of "Instructionfor Students' Psychological Adaptation".

 

 

Provost:David FitzPatrick 

 

 

Professor FitzPatrick has been a member of academic staff at University College Dublin since 1998, and then he returned to academia after a highly successful career with the orthopedic industry. He got international reputation in the field of orthopedic mechanics, particularly in relation to implant design. He has published extensively in leading orthopedic journals, with a track-record of collaborative research with fellow academics and clinicians.


David FitzPatrick received his BAI degree from the University of Dublin in 1985. He subsequently received his Doctor degree at University of Oxford in 1990 for doctoral work entitled “Mechanics of the Knee Joint”. After receiving his doctorate, he moved to work within the orthopaedic industry, initially as a Development Bioengineer with Howmedica International Ltd. In Limerick, Ireland, and then he followed by a career path within DePuy International Ltd. in Leeds, UK. During his period with DePuy, he was actively engaged in developing the International R&D facility, becoming Senior Development Manager for Knee, upper limb, trauma and spinal product lines in 1996. 


Since 1998, he has held academic posts of College Lecturer (1998-2005), Senior Lecturer (2005-2010), Associate Professor (2010-2012) and Professor (2012 to Current) within UCD. He has been the Head of the School of Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical Engineering from 2005 to 2011, as well as Vice Principal (Internationalization & Development) in College of Engineering & Architecture at UCD from 2011-2012 before being appointed to the post of Provost of BDIC in October, 2012.


Since 1998, he has been responsible for the mechanical engineering design and bioengineering curricula at undergraduate level and has contributed to post-graduate taught masters’ courses, including the Masters of Technology Management, Masters of Engineering Management and the All-Ireland MSc in Bioengineering. He is Director of UCD Centre for Bioengineering and is principal research contributor and Visiting Senior Lecturer in the Trinity Centre for Bioengineering, University of Dublin. He has received funding for university projects and his own research from the HEA, HRB, Enterprise Ireland and industry sponsors, amounting to over €5M over the past five years, graduating 3 PhD’s and 3 Research Masters students in the same period. 


In addition to his contribution to UCD programmes, he has acted as degree programme external examiner for the University of Aberdeen (Biomedical Engineering, 2000-2003), the National College of Art & Design (Design, 2003-2008) and Cork Institute of Technology (Bioengineering, 2008-2011). He has also acted as PhD examiner for national and international universities including Trinity College Dublin, Queens University Belfast, U.K., Leuven and the University of Southampton. 

 

 

党委副书记 / 副院长:康娜

 

 

康娜,女,汉族,北京人,2005年7月加入中国共产党,2007年7月参加工作,北京工业大学科学技术哲学专业研究生毕业,哲学硕士,助理研究员,2014年在英国华威大学研修。

 

曾任北京工业大学人文学院团委书记,人文学院学生工作办公室主任、研究生工作组组长(2011年1月至2012年9月)、北京-都柏林国际学院学生事务管理办公室主任,兼宣传推广办公室主任(2012年9月至2016年9月);承担《世界政治经济与形势》、《大学生就业指导》等课程授课任务。

 

曾荣获“北京高校优秀辅导员、北工大立德树人毕业班辅导员标兵、就业工作先进个人、校教工优秀共产党员标兵、首都高校社会实践先进工作者、北京奥运会残奥会工作先进个人”称号及《素质教育》杂志社“科研成果一等奖”。

 

康娜同志参加工作以来主要负责大学生思政教育、素质教育、心理健康教育、学生事务管理、奖学金和违纪处理、安全维稳、危机处理等各项工作;熟悉都柏林学院办学定位、学生特点与工作要求,对新生入学教育、就业创业、学风建设、主题教育、共青团工作等都具有丰富的实践经验;承担或参与多项课题研究,主持教工委首都大学生思想政治教育课题、北京市辅导员培训研修基地课题、北工大教育教学研究课题等,在《中国青年研究》等期刊发表论文10余篇;获得英国华威大学工程教育师资认证、国际创业咨询师、职业规划师、大学生心理健康与危机干预等多项专业资格证书。
