Mengdi Song is an Assistant Professor at the School of Economics, University College Dublin. She holds a PhD in Economics from Heriot-Watt University.

Her work focused on international and monetary economics. She tries to use both theoretical models and empirical methods to study puzzling issues in macroeconomics.

Research interests: policy evaluation, network effects, financial integration.
